Indians love to have their portrait taken by foreigners and they love to take pictures of foreigners.
There have not been any posts recently as I have been in India where connecting to the internet reliably was not as easy as anticipated. It appears terrorism activities in the past few years have put a crunch on outsiders getting access, buying a local SIM card was easy but keeping it active was a challenge. However, six weeks in India allowed immersion into travel photography capturing daily life, sarees blowing in the wind from the back of a motorcycle, tuktuks spewing exhaust, children smiling for their portrait, Indians taking photos of foreigners, everything being pushed and pulled in all manor of transport on the roads of India, negotiating cows wandering everywhere. This image sums up most of my interaction with locals, welcome to India.
